The CEPG are pleased to publicly announce our first guided works tour. In collaboration with Arlington Fleet Services, we have been the opportunity to offer a guided tour of Eastleigh Works in Hampshire.
Eastleigh plays an important role in the history of 309624, as along with its sister unit 309616, were both refurbished here in 2001, as a testbed for the first ECTS Signalling project in the UK.
Tickets are £30 For non members or £25 for members of the CEPG. £15 of each ticket sale will go to Charites nominated by Arlington. The rest will go straight into the restoration of 309624.
